The wonderful Estepona

What differentiates Estepona from all the other busy and agitated cities on the Costa del Sol is its peace and quiet. Estepona is not a city with a very developed tourism industry, but it is a place where the fine beaches, the bars and the pubs patiently wait for you. Tourists love the center of Estepona, because it still tries to maintain the pure, traditional Spanish style and flagrance. If you visit the center of the town, you will be welcomed by cobbled streets, with beautiful houses on both sides, decorated with geraniums. The singing of the birds will nourish your ears and create an atmosphere of serenity that will relax you.

Eating, drinking and relaxing

Estepona is full of bars, pubs and coffee shops that serve delicious tapas, a traditional dish which comes with any type of drink. If you want to dine in a different restaurant every day, you don’t have to worry because Estepona has plenty of restaurants; some of them serve delicious, traditional dishes, others are specialized in the international cuisine. When you go to the beach, the “chiringuitos” will wait for you, having tasty sea food dishes prepared for you. The beaches in Estepona are amazing and most of them have been designated the Blue Flag. Imagine the fact that you will have 21 kilometers of Blue Flag beaches at your disposal; where else will you find something like this?

Sightseeing in Estepona

Estepona, besides being a town with great beaches and fantastic places to eat and drink, it is also a place perfect for those who love sightseeing. The list of museums, for example, is very long; you can find more details about the history of Estepona in the Ethnological Museum or in the Archaeological Museum. The historical ruins are also places where you can actually create an image of how the town used to look. For the little ones, the Selwo Aventura Park is heaven on earth. This is an adventure and animal park where children can enjoy the 200 species of animals from all continents. Those who love golf will also be happy, as Estepona hosts several golf clubs.

Accommodation

Accommodation should not be a problem, you’ll find plenty of hotels of all tastes, starting with the most luxurious ones and finishing with the traditional, rustic ones. Just visit Estepona to convince yourself of its beauty.
